Ever want to explore the PNW, but have no idea where to start? Don’t worry we’ve planned your day for you!
Breakfast:
Whether you go out or stay in, a good breakfast is essential in making this day a happy one! We recommend calorie and nutrient dense foods such as bagels, eggs, and some protein to have plenty of energy for the adventures to come! We recommend Bijou Cafe on SW 3rd in downtown Portland … It’s worth the wait!
Day Rafting Trips:
Zoller’s Outdoor Odysseys is located in White Salmon, WA, a quick 1.5 hour drive from Portland. This day-long raft trip is perfect for the family or friends who want to get out and celebrate nature while still being close to home. Each raft can fit 4-8 people accompanied by a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Explore the beautiful wildlife and old mining history along the banks while you get splashed with the refreshing water from the White Salmon River. Each trip lasts about 4 hours with wetsuits, oars, helmets, and life preservers provided. Check out their website to explore more of their services and schedule the ride of your life today: zooraft.com
We recommend taking advantage of the landscaped picnic areas by packing a snack for before and after the trip!
Dinner:
A short drive and located on the way back from Zoller’s, Hood River is home to many great restaurants but Everybody’s Brewing is one of our personal favorites. From Saucy Thai Wraps to Peanut Butter Burgers, there is something for everyone on the menu. Enjoy their signature brews on the deck overlooking a breathtaking view on view of Mt. Hood. There is nothing like a good burger after a long day of fun yet tiring activity and memories!
Enjoy!
